The first trivia night I went to was my year seven camp. I remember being super embarrassed when one of the questions was "Who is the sports coordinator?" knowing full well it was my dad.
I think it was the PE staff's way of welcoming me to high school.
The SpringFest Trivia Night at St Patrick's College Pavilion is on tonight. Nothing beats door prizes, games, auctions, BYO nibbles and snacks and the fun in whispering your answers across the table.
Tickets cost $15 and the night starts at 7pm. To buy tickets phone 0400 524 533 or visit
If you're in the mood for music, why not catch one of Australia's longest-performing rock n roll bands, The Delltones. They've been playing for five decades and tonight they're on stage at Her Maj.
Tickets are $55 and the concert starts at 8pm. For bookings phone 5333 5888 or visit
As for me, I'm heading home to Melbourne to dine at one of my favourite restaurants - Sakura in Spring Teppanyaki Restaurant on Clarendon Street. They cook everything right in front of you and love testing their skills coming up with dishes that aren't on the menu just for a bit of fun.
