More than 30 dancers aged between six and 15 from the Academy of Classical Ballet performed for an audience of residents from the retirement village.
Academy of Classical Ballet teacher Tahlia Horsburgh said the girls had a great time performing.
“It’s another performance opportunity for the girls and some afternoon entertainment,” Ms Horsburgh said.
Pineview Retirement Village assistant manager Julie O’Meara said the academy had attended annually and the dancers were well-received by the residents.
“They come every year and spend the afternoon here. The residents love it,” Ms O’Meara said.
“They just like to see the young kids dancing, it’s great the way they dress up. Especially on a Sunday afternoon, it’s generally quiet here.”
