Some 500 junior players from across the state head to town for the Country Leagues Junior Soccer Championships.
Hosted by the Ballarat and District Soccer Association, the boys' carnival will be held across the weekend and into Monday, with 87 games in under-12, under-13, under-14, under-15 and under-16 divisions.
Matches will be played on pitches at Morshead Park and Pleasant Street Reserve.
It is also a big weekend for Bungaree veteran Amanda Clarke, who will play her 400th game for the Demons on Saturday.
Clarke, a 19-time club best and fairest winner, including six at Central Highlands Netball League level, is a multiple premiership player at the club, where she is currently A and C-grade coach.
The Demons will host Rokewood-Corindhap in the round 10 fixture.
