The Victorian had a great match with, disappointingly losing to Frenchman Jeremy Chardy in five sets. I spoke to Mark Woodforde before the match and asked how things were. He said Matosevic was “very agitated”. Matosevic isn’t named "Mad Dog" for nothing!
The best match of the day saw the Williams Sisters scrape in against Oksana Kalashnikova - the same name as the rifle, and she sure has rifle-like shots) and Olga Savchuk.in the doubles, 9-7 in the third set.
Ken Rosewall is having a great time at Wimbledon. We sat and had tea in the Last 8 Club with other past players Betty Stove and Frew McMillan. It is always a great place for the past players to meet up.
I saw Tony Roche and we talked about the reception that Lleyton Hewitt is getting at this year's Championship. Great for Aussie tennis.
What a great interview by CBBC border terrier puppet "Hacker T Dog" with Andy Murray. Very funny. If you get a chance to see it, do so.
John McEnroe is doing a session with contributed questions called "Love 40Love". Very busy with his answers.
