Police continue to hunt a notorious child sex offender who escaped from an Ararat correctional facility on Sunday morning.
Andrew Darling, 42, was last seen at the Warrak Road 'Corella Place' facility shortly after 2.30am. More details.
Local police had nothing of significance to report.

Firies reported a very quiet night and had no call outs.

V/LINE
Due to Regional Rail Link works, coaches will replace trains between Melbourne and Ballarat/Wendouree from Saturday 28 June until Tuesday 15 July.
Note: Coaches to Melbourne during morning peak will depart earlier than normal train times.
Trains will continue to operate between Ballarat and Ararat / Maryborough.
