MELBOURNE United has settled into the Minerdome where it will step up pre-season training for the week.
The rebranded National Basketball League club, formerly Melbourne Tigers, arrived in Ballarat on Monday also has a busy community schedule about the city.
Ballarat Miners' young guard Ash Constable will train with United for the week.
The camp builds to a highly-anticipated practice match against Adelaide 36ers at the Minerdome on Friday night.
Adelaide 36ers defeated Melbourne in last season's play-offs for a spot in the championship match.
CAMP HIGHLIGHTS AHEAD
Tuesday: school visits, 2pm
Wednesday: community breakfast, 8am; civic reception 1pm; clinic and Aussie hoops 3pm and 4pm
Thursday: clinic and elite coaching clinic 3pm and 4pm
Friday: sports forum, 1pm
