But after cooking the cuisine, Ms Schultz is a fan.
Federation University students have been introducing Ballarat residents to non-commercial cuisines at Prospects Training restaurant this semester.
Next week the students will prepare Jamaican.
Teacher Ryan Pearce asked third-year commercial cookery students to prepare a series of dishes that would take their customers on a culinary and cultural journey.
So far they have served seafood, Japanese, Asian, Greek and African dishes.
Prospects restaurant will serve a Jamaican banquet on September 3 and 4, from 6pm to 9.30pm. Tickets cost $33.
