Other towns seem to cater for off-street parking, providing space for many vans at a time, dump points, and many have free wi-fi.
Lots of towns, large and small, have information centres, most very accessible.
The towns that really come to mind are Mildura, Tamworth and Dubbo all smaller cit ies than us. These information centres have large parking areas holding at least eight to 10 vans at a time.
Maybe the council should take a look at what th ose towns have got on offer; it's a credit to them.
I think our council needs to rethink where they are putting our information centre.
We have some great choices the Civic Hall is ideal, or a beautiful new building at Victoria Park, a great area and already with lots of parking.
If the council goes ahead with its current plan, it will be interesting to see how many vans can park in Armstrong Street at the one time.
