Goldophin's Australian head trainer John O'Shea has nominated light-raced Terai for the listed event.
The Cup has attracted 35 nominations.
O'Shea is among a contingent of Australia's leading trainers with entries in the last major feature event of the Victorian Spring Carnival.
Hometown mentor Darren Weir, Chris Waller, Peter Moody, David Hayes and Tom Dabernig, Gai Waterhouse, Robert Smerdon, Tony McEvoy, Mick Price and Robert Hickmott all have nominations.
Waterhouse is attempting to secure back-to-back Ballarat Cups after The Offer saluted last year.
Weights will be declared on Tuesday, with fields released on Wednesday.
