Leading universities worldwide have accepted the science and, indeed, a number are making a commitment to acting on emissions reduction themselves.
In one such example, Harvard University have declared its intention to "support ... innovative research focused on climate change solutions (and) reduce (its) own carbon footprint".
The latest particular ''straw'' that climate change deniers are grasping at is the satellite record which shows a plateau in the warming pattern. In fact, it is widely acknowledged that this one data set in no way accounts for the complex way in which the climate interacts with the oceans and is worse than useless as an instrument for monitoring climate change.
You can't help but admire the passion of climate change deniers for amateur science, but when it comes to authoritative answers, Australians continue to rely on authentic science practised by legitimate universities producing peer-reviewed scientific research at the cutting edge.
