Fraser has been promoted to the Harvey Norman Rush bench to meet Canberra at the MARS Minerdome.
The 15-year-old has been averaging 6.8 points with Rush's Youth League team and with the likes of Bronte Clark, Claire Constable and Ryleigh Haire tied up in a youth league double-header, Fraser is ready to seize her chance.
Canberra Capitals Academy features the powerful and athletic Steph Talbot, who earned a WNBA contract in the United States last year that she has not taken up yet.
Its starting five also features Alice Coddington, Ellie Junod, Sarah Mcappion and could possibly include decorated veteran Jess Bibby - all players in Canberra's Women's National Basketball League squad.
But so is Rush co-captain Abbey Wehrung.
Capitals Academy has one win on the board but is generally young with good depth.
Rush is determined to build on the intensity and aggression it served up last week in an overtime loss to Frankston.
Finishing off shots and cutting errors has been atop the Rush agenda this week for what should be a close game - especially if Rush can nullify Talbot.
