Ballarat Secondary College received $172,000, Phoenix P-12 Community College $10,000 and Urquhart Park Primary School $22,000.
Ballarat Secondary College principal Rick Gervasoni welcomed the funding, which would provide a maintenance upgrade at the college’s arts and technology wing at its east campus.
He said the college was currently at the stage of getting concept plans to upgrade the campus.
“It increases the amount of money we have to upgrade the site,” Mr Gervasoni said.
“It’s fantastic. It was a good boost and adds to what we will be able to achieve.”
Funding is being directed to buildings that were identified during an independent audit of every school building as being in the most need of renovation.
More than 150 Victorian public schools will share in $27 million to fix ageing buildings and infrastructure.
