The Blues look as though they have a great chance, with midfielder Shaun Campbell one of the main fancies to take home the big prize at Monday night’s Central Highlands Football League presentation evening.
Campbell has been a hit since arriving at the club from Ainslie this season, playing all 17 games throughout the club’s successful home and away campaign.
The midfielder has been named as the Blues’ best on seven separate occasions this year as he looks to become the club’s first league best and fairest winner since Simon Wilkie took home the award in 2002.
Like always, there’s a string of contenders from clubs across the competition looking to take the mantle won by former Springbank onballer Luke Fisher in 2014.
Monday night’s presentation dinner – featuring senior football and netball awards for season 2015 – will be held at Bray Raceway.
