Bomb scare in Alfredton
Police are investigating an explosive device located in a car in Alfredton on Saturday morning.

Ballarat members intercepted a car in Cuthberts Road and located the device inside the vehicle about 4.30am.
Cuthberts Road was was closed until members from the Bomb Response Unit detonated the device around 9.15am.
The two occupants of the car, a 27-year-old Sebastopol man and a 30-year-old Creswick woman, were taken into custody.
The pair have been released and are expected to be charged on summons at a later date.
