Six PGA Trainees ran informal clinics on putting, driving and chipping.
Children of all ages participated, some familiar with the sport and some completely new to the game of golf.
Little ones as young as two were joining in and picking up the plastic clubs.
“Having access to the best trainees in the country and giving our local community access to them for a day is a really terrific thing,” Ballarat Golf Club marketing manager, Victoria Rushton said.
“PGA trainee Travis Lord did a brilliant job on the driving range with a huge group of kids all learning how to drive the ball down the practice range.
“PGA Trainee Alex McKay worked with the tiniest little golfers on the SNAG golf kit.
“It was a wonderful community day and we look forward to next years event.”
