Ballarat’s newest Mediterranean restaurant, Billy’s Bistro and Bar, is embracing Good Food Ballarat with two classic long table dinners in November.

The venue, named after iconic Ballarat figure Billy Butterfly, opened in September and has since impressed with its Spanish, Italian and Greek inspired cuisine.
The second long table dinner will take place on Thursday, November 26, with each night featuring generous platters of five Mediterranean-themed courses spread along each table.
Chef Donatello Pietrantuono, better known as Chef Dona, describes the food as “clean and real”.
Each table has 22 seats. Tickets at $89 per person, with dinner and wine included. Bookings on (03) 5327 1200.
Throughout November the restaurant will also offer a monthly special to celebrate Good Food Ballarat.
Billy’s Bistro and Bar will host a Meze chef’s lunch between 12-2.30pm daily with a selection of small eastern Mediterranean share dishes designed for an easy lunch.
