Ballarat by the Glass will begin on November 1 and local wine-lovers are being urged to get in early and purchase tickets before it's too late.
As part of this year's Ballarat by the Glass, nine events will be held over the entire month at venues around the region.
Ballarat and District Vignerons Association president Cheryl Hines said each event aimed to highlight the quality of local wines.
Talking about a feature event of the month, Ms Hines said the Duck and Pinot dinner was set to be one of this year’s most popular events.
"The format of the evening is that we will be dining at three classic Ballarat restaurants, Craig's Royal Hotel, The George Hotel and GC's," she said.
"Three groups of people meet at different hotels and have a glass of wine on arrival ... Then there will be a different duck dish served at each venue."
Ms Hines said events similar to this have proved popular in the past and is expected to sell out once again.
As part of the event and, in addition to the other remaining eight events, Ms Hines said wine growers and specialists will also be available to talk to.
