The city’s only foodie laneway will be transformed into a food and beverage mecca with musicians and food stalls lining the popular Lydiard Street lane.
Taking place at on Friday The Lane and extending through to Ballarat’s newest restaurant Hop Temple, foodies will have the chance to experience food and beverages from a number of international food stalls including tacos, Spanish churros and wood-fired pizzas.
“We are looking forward to the entire laneway coming to life with tantalising aromas created by the variety of international food stalls on offer,” The Lane at The George Hotel general manager Daniel Rush said.
Western Victoria’s Spanish latin band Los Locos will also perform live at the fest from 6pm with David Anderson performing a live acoustic set from 9.30pm.
“Now that we’re coming into the festive season, we’re expecting this to be the first of many fabulous laneway events to come,” Hop Temple manager Zac Hill said.
The Lane International Food Fest will kick off at 4pm. Entry is free.
