Ballarat photographer David Robinson, who runs Past & Present Photography, has trawled through the archives to create some stunning images comparing Ballarat of yesteryear to the city we know today.
Fusing classic old photos with modern day photos he took himself, he has developed some fascinating images for you to cast your eye over.

“I love the history of Ballarat and it's a different way to look at the past and present and to stand in the same spot as the old photographers is a joy,” Mr Robinson said.
“I would like to share the different perspective of our wonderful town.”
We first got in touch with Mr Robinson in December, 2015, when we shared a series of his work.
Now we have added more the gallery (above) and hope you have as much fun looking at them as we did creating them.
