FitzGerald, who has taken over from David Loader as head coach of the under-18 TAC Cup side, will take the travelling Rebels to meet the Geelong Falcons at Simonds Stadium on March 26.
With a home match to be played at Bendigo’s Queen Elizabeth Oval as part of the country round on April 2 and then more away matches, FitzGerald has to wait until round five on April 30 to coach in Ballarat.
North Ballarat will lock horns with Bendigo Pioneers in that encounter at Eureka Stadium.
Stawell will also get the chance to host a TAC Cup fixture, with the Rebels set to take on Western Jets in the round 12 clash on July 3.
The season will kick off with a full round of matches on the Easter weekend, starting with Calder Cannons versus Eastern Ranges on Thursday, March 24.
