CAPTAIN Josh White and import Saman Jayantha both made centuries as Golden Point plundered the East Ballarat bowlers on Saturday afternoon.
White finished the day unbeaten on 149, while Jayantha was dismissed on 109 (119 balls) as the Pointies smashed 4-393 in Ballarat Cricket Association firsts competition at Eastern Oval.
White was the linchpin for the home side, with his score coming from a mammoth 242-ball stay at the crease.
This allowed the likes of Simon Ogilvie (49 from 50 balls) and Daniel White (44 not out from 39 balls) to go in search of quick runs.
