Under-14 boys on the board
A SERIES of run outs and strong top order batting spearheaded Central Highlands to victory in the state under-14 male cricket championships on Tuesday.
Bouncing back from a loss on day one, the Highlanders completed five run outs to restrict Metro Northern to 9-106. They replied with 2-107 with Jack McGregor (Ballan) making 30, Dan Lalor (Bacchus Marsh) 26 and Sam Dempsey (Riddell) 24.
Central Highlands 93 lost North East Knights 132 on Monday despite James Doherty (Ballarat-Redan) taking 4-121
