DANCERS who jitterbug, lindy hop, twist, cha cha, jive or boogie are invited to shake their tail feather at an upcoming performance at Suttons House of Music.
The Ivy Stone Assembly performs 1950s style rhythm-and-blues, blues, soul and rock n’ roll, channeling the likes of Ray Charles, Ruth Brown, Nina Simone and Dusty Springfield – along with more contemporary artists like Amy Winehouse.
During the evening, the band’s dancing saxophonist Robbie Cappuccio will take to the floor where he will offer encouragement, commendation and prizes for the best dancers.
The free event will be held Friday February 5 from 8pm at the Sturt Street venue.
