IN COURT: A second teen has appeared in court over an incident on Wednesday.
A SECOND teenager allegedly involved in the attempted armed robbery of plain-clothed police officers in the Canadian State Forest on Wednesday has been remanded in custody.
The 17-year-old Ballarat male who appeared a children’s court on Friday did not apply for bail and was remanded in custody until February 1. The boy’s lawyer said his client was taking medication to help him sleep and was withdrawing from drug addiction. His charges include attempted armed robbery and car theft.
