REV-HEADS from around the state will flock to the Ballarat Airport on Sunday for the annual Fuelers Car Club Horsepower Extravaganza, which will this year feature the added attraction of freestyle motocross riders.

Now in it’s 10th year, the event is set to attract around 2000 punters, with over 300 vehicles on display to entice car enthusiasts of all varieties.
“We’ll have everything from muscle and hot rods, to customs and off-road buggies,” event organiser Barry Pridham said.
For the first time in 2016, five freestyle motocross riders from across the country will entertain the crowds with death-defying stunts, with Crusty Demons commentator Jerry Bernardo set to MC the event.
Some of the funds raised from Sunday’s gathering will be donated to the Ballarat Soup Bus, which will be on site on Saturday.
“Over the past couple of years we’ve raised around $8000 for Ballarat charities,” Mr Pridham said. “It’s all about helping the local community.”
The Fuelers Car Club was established in 2004, and currently has 25 active members, with a focus on hot rods, muscle and custom cars.
“We try and mix it up a bit,” Mr Pridham said.
Entry to the event will be $10 a head, and $20 for car entry. Children under 14 free.
