BALLARAT Football Netball League has three teams in the new Victorian Women’s Football League senior Goldfields division.
Lake Wendouree, East Point and Bacchus Marsh each has a presence in the five-team competition.
The season begins on Sunday: Bacchus Marsh v MCDFL Lions at Maddingley Park, noon; East Point v Kyneton at White Flat, noon; Lake Wendouree bye
Fifteen rounds have been scheduled, with the Lakers and Kangaroos to meet in the first Ballarat derby on Sunday, April 17.
