BALLARAT NATIONAL THEATRE
The Ballarat National Theatre will celebrate 125 years of the Royal South Street Society with singing, dancing, comedy and drama. Honourable Mentions, written and directed by Mary-Rose McLaren and Peter Nethercote, will run at the CourthouseTheatre on Lydiard Street, Ballarat from April 2 to 8, with tickets available from the webiste www.hermaj.com.
CARS AND COFFEE
The next Ballarat Cars n Coffee event has been confirmed for Sunday, April 17. This is the last meeting for the club’s second season before taking a break for winter. Meetings are open to every enthusiast. The club encourages everyone and anyone to bring along their car, motorbike or custom vehicle of any make, model and age – whether retro, classic, vintage, exotic, and restored or prestige. The club meets at the Sovereign Hill car park in Bradshaw Street, Ballarat. As always the first 50 arrivals from 7.30am will be shouted a coffee, this month thanks to Ballarat Towing Service.
MOUNT MITCHELL OPEN GARDEN
The Mount Mitchell Open Garden Event allows guests to roam the gardens and enjoy the beautiful spaces and design. Enjoy a coffee or a Devonshire tea while admiring the National Trust listed homestead and original outbuildings. Tours of the grounds will depart on the hour commencing at 11am. The homestead is not open to the public as it is a private residence. It is located at 3056 Sunraysia Highway in Lexton.The home is open on April 23 from 10am to 5pm.
