BALLARAT Rush has extended its winning streak to three after a comprehensive display against the Brisbane Spartans at the Minerdome on Sunday afternoon.

The home side led from start to finish in the fifth round encounter, with newly-returned co-captain Kerryn Harrington getting to work early in her first match for the Rush, scoring 10 points in the opening term.
Abbey Wehrung was again crucial for the Rush, scoring 23 points for the match including three from outside the arc. Import Joy Burke also played a key role with 16 rebounds and 16 points.
The Rush continued to find multiple avenues to the net in the second half, with five players finishing the match with more than 10 points.
The win puts the Rush’s win-loss record in the black for the first time this season, with three wins and two losses. The Ballarat side will now prepare to take on Launceston at the Minerdome on Sunday.
