A BALLARAT girl had the opportunity to experience life as an Air Force pilot when she took part in the Air Force Girls Flight Camp.
Selected from more than 40 applicants, Ballarat’s Jessica Bourke completed a week at the Air Force – flying in aircraft and simulators and participating in leadership activities and physical training.
"It's an exciting job, being a pilot is like nothing else out there and everyday presents a new challenge and it never gets boring,” Jessica said.
"Flight Camp was an amazing, once in a lifetime opportunity and it has helped immensely with my career pathways. It was definitely worth the time.” Jessica particularly enjoyed completing aerobatics.
She hopes to become a RAAF pilot.
