
An 87-year-old woman has died following a two-car collision earlier this month in Ballarat East.
Police say a blue Toyota was travelling east on Walker Street about 11.45am on Wednesday, May 4 when the driver performed a U-turn and was struck by a yellow Toyota.
The 87-year-old Ballarat woman, who was the only occupant of the blue Toyota, was cut free and taken to hospital.
The 64-year-old Sebastapol woman, the sole occupant of the yellow Toyota, was transported to hospital with minor injuries.
The Ballarat East woman died in hospital on May 16.
The exact cause of the collision is yet to be determined.
