Meanwhile, the Geelong girls won the 17/under netball clash against the Central Highlands 34-26.
1.50pm: GDFL wins a great under-18 battle, prevailing 7.9 to 6.5.
1.44pm: Luke Cornwell kicks a nice goal to give GDFL a nine-point lead.
1.40pm: GDFL back out to a three point lead thanks to a goal from Brad Carlton. Nine minutes left on the clock.
1.32pm: Tom McGregor converts to give the CHFL the lead. CHFL 6.5 v GDFL 5.8 with 16 minutes left to play.
1.25pm: And the GDFL takes a three-point lead into the final change.
