George, who has played with Celtic in the Scottish Premier League, was announced as the Reds’ boom recruit on Wednesday.
Robinson said the 22-year-old took part in half of the club’s training session on Thursday night and was set to play, providing his clearance is approved in time for the National Premier Leagues Victoria 2 fixture.
The Reds will also get back key duo Michael Trigger and Daniel Firth for the match.
Ballarat is looking to bounce back from last weekend’s 1-0 defeat at the hands of Moreland Zebras.
