Man stabbed in Delacombe
A 31-year-old man has undergone emergency surgery to treat stab wounds after an alleged incident this morning.
Ballarat Inspector Bruce Thomas said police were called to Mawarra Drive, in Delacombe at 2am after reports of an altercation.
Police say the 31-year-old man was stabbed in the neck after an altercation at a property.
He was transferred by ambulance to Ballarat Base Hospital where he underwent emergency surgery to treat the wounds.
A 34-year-old man was taken into police custody. He is helping police with their investigations.
No charges have been laid.
