GEELONG has ended North Ballarat Rebels’s winning streak in the TAC Cup under-18 competition.
The Falcons did just enough all day at Eureka Stadium to stave off the Rebels, which had won six on end, by 23 points.
This continues Geelong’s supremacy over North Ballarat in home and away games despite changes in personnel.
The Falcons have now beaten the Rebels twice in the regular season two years running, although North did take the honours in last season’s finals.
