For the school holidays Kryal Castle jousters will stick to the theme of fire – riding their horses of jumps covered in flames and delivering an even more spectacular performance than last year.
Business and marketing manager Serena Eldridge said the flaming jump addition would add to the excitement of the event.
“It is definitely something you don’t see everywhere,” Ms Eldridge said.
“As far as we know we are one of the only places that offers jousting with fire.
“It is really unique and adds to the winder wonderful feel.”

Professionals jousters Sir Hector and Sir Reynard will compete, while head jouster Phil Leitch will be missing in action.
The experienced jouster is currently in France competing in one of the world’s top competitions.
“He will be jousting with a polac sword and dagger – it’s a combination at these types of events,” Ms Eldridge said.
The fire jousting program will run from June 25 to July 10.
“The daily highlight of the program will be the spectacular Joust of The Flame as Sir Hector meets Sir Reynard in a fiery clash of flaming lances and swords on The Castle’s Main Arena at 1:30pm daily,” Ms Eldridge said.
