NORTH United has maintained its one point advantage at the top the Ballarat District Soccer Association women’s division one competition with a comfortable 4-1 success over Vic Park Blue on the weekend.
United led from start to finish in the encounter at Victoria Park after Katelene Cook opened the scoring in the fourth minute en route to a brace.
Elsewhere in the league, Warrnambool continued its run of good form with an easy 4-1 win over the Forest Rangers.
Shkara Rantall led the way with a hattrick, bringing her tally to 12 for the season.
In the final fixture of the round, the Sebastopol Vikings continued their charge to the top of the table with a 4-1 triumph over Creswick at Morshead Park, while Vic Park White enjoyed the week off.
The round 12 results mean just two points separate the top three teams in the competition.
Two of those sides will do battle in round 13 when North United take on the Vikings at St Georges Reserve.
