Does my Ballarat polling booth have a sausage sizzle?

Yes, electing our new Prime Minister is paramount, but finding that perfect sausage sizzle on this day would have to run a close second.

For some, it could be the difference between walking to your closest polling booth (which inexcusably doesn’t have a barbecue) or driving half way across town.

So, to make things easier for all you faux-meat enthusiasts out there, we’ve put together something to help you find the perfect location to cast your vote this Saturday.

We’ve also supplied information on wheelchair accessibility and for one very stomach-friendly booth – where to find a cake stall.

- 38 wheelchair accessible booths (steer clear of Mt Egerton mechanics Hall if you need wheelchair access)

- Five sausage sizzles. Just five?! There could be more on they day, but these five are the only ones to officially register to date.
