Sandy Dumbrowski (Olivia Valpied) and Danny Zuko (Andrew Marriott) will once again prove they’re the ones everyone wants as Grease takes over the school’s Valda Ward Auditorium.
Director Maria Russell said the hit musical was “all round appealing”.
“It crosses generations, young kids know it, older people know it,” Ms Russell said. “(The cast) has been absolutely amazing. They are really committed and very hard workers.”
Olivia and Andrew, both 17, actually tested for the roles of Marty and Kenickie but were instead snapped up for the two main roles.
“For my last one, it was great to get the lead,” Olivia said.
Andrew auditioned as part of his senior music studies – and laughed at his friends who predicted he would get the role of Danny – but said it had been “lots of fun”.
Grease is being performed at 8pm daily until Saturday, with a 2pm matinee on Saturday.
