AFL Goldfields will take full responsibility for auditing player points allocations in the Central Highlands Football League in 2016 after an error-riddled opening year.
The system had originally been operated by the league and the clubs with minimal assistance from the regional governing body, however a number of incorrect player points allocations has led to five clubs breaching their club quota.
AFL Goldfields said the audit should highlight the importance of ensuring correct player values.
