A man wearing a black hoodie entered a Leawarra Crescent, Delacombe house at 6.30am on Friday, police say.
Senior Sergeant Neale Robinson said the owners woke after hearing loud noises. They confronted the unwelcome male.
The man allegedly left the house with a number of electrical items when he realised the victim was aware of his presence. Police were called unable to apprehend the man. The male has not been sighted and police are urging any witnesses to come forward.
