The large-scale projection and arts festival will have its fifth iteration in Melbourne in February next year, followed by Ballarat from March 4.
The event will take over Ballarat’s streets, laneways, parklands, public spaces and cultural institutions, with organisers currently on the hunt for independent artists, arts, organisations and creative businesses.
The 2016 Melbourne event featured stunning projections and animations from Ballarat Indigenous art group the Pitcha Makin’ Fellas, whose work was brought to life on the Royal Exhibition Building. Also, young Ballarat Indigenous artist Josh Muir’s work was projected on the National Gallery of Victoria.
The Ballarat event will feature projections on the city’s iconic historic buildings. For more information about submitting an artist Expression of Interest, visit www.whitenightballarat.com.au
