The Ballarat Rush have missed out on a place in the SEABL finals despite registering an impressive nine-point triumph against the Geelong Lady Supercats.
Heading into the final round of home-and-away SEABL action, the Rush needed to compete a clean sweep of their two fixtures while relying on either Bendigo or Brisbane to drop their match.
Unfortunately for the Ballarat side, both the Lady Spartans and the Lady Braves were successful on Saturday, cementing their top four places.
Should Ballarat be successful against Canberra tomorrow afternoon, both the Rush and the Lady Braves will finish on 11 wins and 10 losses for the season. However it will be the Lady Braves who progress due to their favourable head-to-head record with the Rush.
