The Magpies requested the Central Highlands Football League look into a matter involving Duke and youngster Luke Madden that stemmed from the August 6 encounter, which the Crows won convincingly by 147 points.
Duke is seen in video footage to come in contact with Madden, who then falls to the ground.
The Beaufort goal-sneak was free to play as the investigation took place, but his season is now over after the Crows were beaten in Sunday’s elimination final by Hepburn.
Duke’s tribunal hearing has been scheduled for Tuesday.
