The Ballarat trainer tasted more group 1 success with Rocknroll Magic ($4.40) in the $185,000 three-year-old fillies' final, 2240m, and Our Little General ($6.20) in the $280,000 2yo colts/geldings' final, 2240m.
For Rocknroll Magic, this stretches her winning sequence to 12 and career standings to 22 wins in 29 starts for $406,000
Our Little General's eight wins in 13 starts have elevated his earnings to $244,000.
Stewart capped off her day with group 2 wins with Ideal For Real ($1.30 favourite) in the $50,000 4yo entires/geldings' championships, 2240m, and Lovelist ($9.70) in the 4yo mares' championships, 2240m.
These round off a stunning metropolitan season for her stable, with Stewart securing a second consecutive trainers’ premiership with 66 wins – 40 more than second-placed David Aiken.
She is also a runaway leader in the state title, with of 192 wins for more than $2.2m in stakes with just three days of the season remaining. This is the fifth season in a row she has topped 100 wins in a season.
NZ trainer Mark Purdon, who has been temporarily based with Ballarat trainer Anton Golino during the Breeders Crown series, had three group 1 wins at Melton on Sunday with 2yo trotting gelding Custodian ($1.90 favourite), 3yo gelding Our Waikiki Beach ($1.04 favourite) and unbeaten 2yo filly Partyon ($1.70 favourite).
