Coach Eammon Gill said Dan Colbert (calf) and Chris Giampaolo (ankle) each pulled up sore after Sunday’s elimination final win over North Ballarat City.
He rates each a 50-50 chance to play at the Eastern Oval.
Ryan Waight has already been ruled out after straining a hamstring in the closing minutes against North Ballarat City.
Dean Chester will replace Waight. Gill confirmed Chester was right to play after withdrawing from the selected team at the weekend with hamstring soreness.
He said Redan could have rolled dice with Chester, but by playing it safe the Lions now had him ready to go at full fitness.
Gill said Dan Watson was another possible call-up after getting over hamstring trouble.
Lake Wendouree will again consider recalling Nathan Pring and Tanner Robertson after lower leg problems.
Each was originally selected to play against Bacchus Marsh in Saturday’s qualifying final, but did not line up.
Lakers coach Gavin Webb said Pring had been extremely close, but pulled up sore after training.
He said whether either played would more than likely be determined how they felt as late as Saturday.
With no more second chances for Lake Wendouree, it is more than likely to take a punt with Pring, who represented the BFL before being injured in round nine.
He is a potent forward and after Lakers’ failure to kick a goal after half-time against Bacchus Marsh they will be keen to add to their firepower.
Tom Carey (ankle) was forced to sit out the latter stages on Saturday, but Webb expects the versatile to play.
Sunbury has declared a clean bill of health for the second semi-final against Bacchus Marsh at the Eastern Oval on Saturday.
The Lions have lost Tim Hill to suspension, with coach Rick Horwood nominating Roger Allen, Tanner Bell, Corey Hansen and Josh and Ben Guthrie all possible replacements.
Lachlan Phyland (heel) is expected to be fit for Bacchus Marsh after pulling out of the side to play Lakers. Liam Noonan (shoulder) is the Cobras’ main injury worry.
