Ballarat has seen a soggy start to the Spring and the pattern is set to continue throughout the week.
Seventy five percent of the month’s average rainfall has fallen so far with 53.6mm including almost half of this on one day last week. But the Bureau of Meteorology has predicted as much as another 40 mm falling right through the week.

The beneficiaries so far have been the storages with Lal Lal Reservoir climbing above 72 percent and White Swan, Ballarat’s main direct water feeder at over 90 percent full.
Some of the local natural attractions have also seen the benefit of the rain including Lal La Falls.
Bone dry as recently as May, the falls above the reservoir were a spectacle of silver spray captured specially by Luke Parker of Skyline Drone imaging.
