9.55pm: Sunbury’s Alik Magin has taken home the watch as The Courier footballer of the year. He finished well clear of East Point’s Paul Koderenko and Simon McCartin, from North Ballarat City.

9.30pm: East Point’s Lauren Atkinson has won the Sally McLean Trophy as the A-grade netball best and fairest! Atkinson was a big winner over Lake Wendouree’s Molly Boyle, with Redan’s Emma Henry third.

9.25pm: Lake Wendouree has won the Merv and Mary Howard Memorial Senior Club Championship for season 2016. The Lakers finished with 152.5 points to beat Sunbury (150.5) and East Point (147.5).
9.20pm: North Ballarat City’s Annie McCartin has been named as the netball coach of the year for 2016. She finished clear of Sascha Veldhuis (East Point), with Georgia Cann (Sebastopol) and Kirsty Walsh (Lake Wendouree) equal third.
Meanwhile, Peter Brady, from Sebastopol, has been selected as the netball administrator of the year.
9.15pm: Redan’s Tracey Boyce has won the administrator of the year award and Bacchus Marsh’s Hamish Coulton the league’s rookie of the year crown. Coulton finished clear in the voting from Leigh Spiteri (Darley) and Jack McNab (Sebastopol).
9.10pm: The 2016 umpire of the year is Adrian Tinetti. He finished clear in the voting from Tom Lyon and Justin Davey. It is Adrian's second-straight win in the award.
9.05pm: Mick Malthouse coach of the year award has been won by Bacchus Marsh's Travis Hodgson. He finished clear in the voting ahead of Shane Snibson (Sebastopol), Eammon Gill (Redan) and Rick Horwood (Sunbury).
9pm: 2016 goal of the year goes to Sebastopol's Michael Powell for his effort in the round 14 clash against Melton South
2016 mark of the year goes to Lake Wendouree's Ben Hayes for his screamer in the qualifying final against Bacchus Marsh.
8.30pm: Brian Taylor has taken the stage.
8.10pm: Redan’s Liam Hunter polls 23 votes to top the reserves football best and fairest count, but is ruled ineligible for the medal following a suspension he received while playing senior football late in the season.
This leaves Melton’s Tristan Batten as the winner.

7.55pm: Lake Wendouree’s Kate Drew has taken out the C-grade netball trophy, while the B-grade award went to Ballarat’s Laura Head.

7.45pm: Melton South’s Melanie Kelly has taken out the D-grade netball best and fairest award, one vote clear of Taylor Brogan from Sunbury.

6.55pm: Bacchus Marsh’s Dylon Bishop has taken out the Dick Rees Memorial Trophy as the under-18.5 football best and fairest. He won by two votes from North Ballarat City’s William Hoye.

6.50pm: Ellie Breuer from Lake Wendouree has taken out the 19/under netball best and fairest award.
She beat Telia Coverdale (Melton) by a vote, with Elonie Hooper (North Ballarat City) a further vote behind.

6.40pm: Melton South's Aaron Clarke has been presented with the under-18.5 football leading goal-kicker award after booting 49 majors in the 2016 home and away rounds.
The Jim Gull Medal, for the reserves leading goal-kicker, has been taken out by Jackson Kinna (Redan) and Baden Stevens (Sebastopol). Both players kicked 36 goals this home and away season.
The Tony Lockett Medal, for the senior division leading goal-kicker, goes to North Ballarat City's Derick Micallef. He kicked 64 goals during the home and away rounds.
