The scores were locked at 27 goals apiece after full-time before Redan skipped away in extra-time to claim its third straight flag. Sunbury capped a perfect season with the B grade flag, accounting for Lake Wendouree by 10 goals – it didn’t lose a game for the entire season on it’s way to a third straight B grade flag. Sunbury also took out the C grade premiership with a three-goal win over Ballarat. North Ballarat City held off a determined Ballarat to triumph in the D grade grand final by three goals.
