Weatherzone meteorologist Rob Sharpe said there was a high chance of thunderstorms, with a cold front predicted to come through the region early Thursday morning.
He predicted about 20 to 30 millimetres of rainfall over Thursday morning and Friday evening.
“There is a high chance thunderstorms at some point,” Mr Sharpe said.
“The main cold front will come through early on Thursday morning, but the upper cold air will remain throughout Friday which will provide the most likely chance for thunderstorms.”
Wednesday is expected to hit 15 degrees with 10 to 20 millimetres of rainfall predicted.
The weather is expected to remain chilly for the rest of the week.
Thursday is expected to hit a maximum of 10 degrees while Friday will is predicted to reach a high of just 8 degrees.
