Travellers Aid Chief Executive Officer Elias Lebbos said his organisation can offer support to disabled people and people with mobility issues travelling from Ballarat to Melbourne.
“If I had a dollar for every time someone said to me ‘if it wasn’t for your service I wouldn’t be able to travel’, I’d be a multi-millionaire,” he said.
Travellers Aid can provide buggies for around Southern Cross station, as well as companions to escort people to medical and essential service appointments.
The exhibition, which shows the organisation’s history, will be in Ballarat until next Friday.
